NHS Newcastle Gateshead Clinical Commissioning Group and Gateshead Council undertook a strategic review of the provision of services available to unpaid carers in Gateshead. As part of the review process the CCG and Council wanted to understand how they could support the needs of unpaid carers and develop future services.
The views of carers were gathered via the Local Engagement Board, an open access online questionnaire and the engagement activities discussed within this report. This report should therefore be viewed in conjunction with the results of the online survey and LEB activity.
