Student GP Registration Service
Our bespoke, online Student GP Registration Service helps new students register with a GP whilst they are away from home. As we as enabling them to access appropriate healthcare when they need it, this service has significantly reduced the burden on urgent care services.
What is it?
The Student GP Registration Service provides students with transparent and consistent information allowing them to choose a GP practice they feel best fits their needs. Amongst the options to consider are the GP practice location, staff demographics and opening times. Taking all of this on board, the website enables students to make an informed choice of which GP practice they would like to register with. Students complete a registration form, learn about and then choose a practice. Their registration is sent directly to their chosen GP practice and students don’t have to do anything else. We provide every student with a digital information resource outlining local NHS services available to them, their locations and guidance on how and when to access them.
