RISE provides low-moderate levels of mental health support to children and young people in schools in Newcastle and Gateshead via Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs). The contract was up for renewal and in order to inform a new service specification ahead of a tendering process North East and North Cumbria ICB asked Involve North East to gather feedback on the current service.
The project involved engagement with a range of cohorts including children and young people who had used the service and their parents/carers, school staff who had used RISE and those who hadn’t. Find out what they told us here.
