AJ has led the organisation through a period of significant change across both the charity sector and the NHS, providing steady leadership through a global pandemic, a changing funding landscape and major structural reforms. Throughout this time, they have remained focused on ensuring that Involve North East continued to deliver high-quality work while
maintaining the strong governance, professionalism and attention to detail for which the organisation is known.
Under AJ’s leadership, Involve North East has consistently punched above its weight, achieving an impact far beyond what might be expected of an organisation of its size.
AJ has been a trusted and safe pair of hands for the organisation throughout this period. Trustees have always known that the detail would be understood, the due diligence completed and the organisation’s interests carefully protected. Their conscientiousness, commitment and genuine care for colleagues have helped create a strong organisation and a supportive culture.
